QGL Finals 2000 - Q3 Duel Structure & Rules

Admin: Trog, Nats, Saint.

Match Settings:

  • Teams: 1 vs 1.
  • Timelimit: 15 minutes per map.
  • Maps: Q3DM6(TMP version), Q3DM13 (TMP version),Q3Tourney2, Q3Tourney4. Maps will be chosen at random at the start of each round. 1 map per round for the first 4 rounds, 3 maps per round for the semi-finals and the finals.
  • Frag Limit: No Frag Limit.
  • Respawn Time: g_forcerespawn will be set to 5 seconds.
  • Mod Used: OSP 0.99m
  • Required Files: The following files will be required by everyone playing in the Q3 Duel Finals:
    • TMP CPL Maps(6.3mb) - Modified versions of Q3DM6, Q3DM12, and Q3DM13.
    • OSP Client-Side .pk3 file(117kb) - Simply extract this file to Quake3\osp. It will be required to play in the QGL finals.
Winner: The player who wins the most maps (by frags) will be declared the winner.

Tied Game: Tied games will go into sudden death mode; ie next frag wins.
